Once there was a stick-figure.png who thought he could eat spicy foods. He had never tried them until he ateVolcano-Nachos-temp.jpg.

After that it felt like his mouth was on fire.jpg and he felt horrible. He stuck his head in hisTransolid_kitchen_sink_TS33226.jpg

and turned on the water, but it wouldn't cool the fire in his mouth. Finally he chugged from his milk_carton.jpg and the

fire went away. He never ate spicy foods ever again after that and he lived happily ever after.

Outsiders Week 1

If I had to choose a character from the Outsiders to be my friend, I would pick Ponyboy. I would pick Ponyboy because he and I are alike. Both of us enjoy reading, enjoy school, and are both the youngest in our families. Also, he seems a lot kinder than the rest of the Greasers. If I had to be friends with anyone from the Outsiders, it would be him based off of info on pages

Plutonium

My favorite element is Plutonium(Pu). Plutonium is my favorite because it is used in nuclear bombs and nuclear power plants. It is used alongside uranium in both bombs and power plants. Also, Plutonium is radioactive, meaning that the atomic nucleus of a dying atom loses energy.
Plutonium is an odd element. Plutonium’s atomic number is 94 and it’s atomic weight is 244.0642. It was discovered by G.T. Seaborg, J.W. Kennedy, J.M. McMillan, and A.C. Wohl. They discovered it in 1945. It can be found in naturally in certain uranium ores. It can also be made by deuteron bombardment of uranium. It can also be made by the reduction of its triflouride with alkali metals.
Plutonium is a silvery-white metal. It belongs to the actinide family. That is at the very bottom of the periodic table. This group includes uranium, actinium, and americium, thorium, protactinium, neptunium, curium, berkelium, californium, einsteinium, fermium, mendelevium, nobelium, and lawrencium. All actinides are radioactive. Of all the actinides, uranium, plutonium, and thorium are the most abundant.
Plutonium and uranium are used as radioactive materials in nuclear weapons and power plants. The energy released from one-kilogram of plutonium is the equivalent of 20,000 tons of chemical explosives. One-kilo also give off about 22 million kilowatt hours of heat energy. Henceforth, this is why plutonium is used for nuclear power and weapons.
Here are some fun facts. Plutoniums density is 19.84 (g/cc). Its melting point is 914 degrees Kelvin. Its atomic radius is 151(pm). Its ionic radius is 93(+4e) 108(+3e), fusion heat is 2.8(kJ/mol),evaporation heat 343.5(kJ/mol), and it lattice structure is monoclinic.
